Mashos biological parents from Ethiopia has now gone to a lawyer to overturn the adoption of her daughter.

Mashos biological parents in Ethiopia went Friday to a lawyer for the annulment of adoption of Masho because they want to restore their relationship with her. But they do not want her home necessarily.
– We will be in contact with her because we are worried about how she is feeling, and we are very concerned that she not have contact with her brother, say the biological parents to DR News.
The reason they do not necessarily want her home is that they are afraid to make life even more difficult for her than it is already.
Want contact with daughter
– She does not speak the language, and there’s been so long, so we are afraid that it will be strange for her to suddenly be here.We are not sure that we can give her the lifestyle she is accustomed to, says Mashos biological mother, Sinkenesh Hussein.
But they want to have contact with their daughter, so they can make sure that she is doing well and explain to her why she was given away.
Today Masho located in a residence in Holbæk municipality, while little brother Roba still living with adoptive parents. And this is something that concerns the biological parents.
Went to the lawyer Friday
– They were very attached to each other, and Masho was very protective of his brother. We are very sorry that they did not have each other more, but live apart, says Sinkenesh Hussein.
Mashos parents have long been in a process where they have considered how they should act in relation to the fact that Masho today is located. Friday they took as a final step and asked a lawyer to go into the matter.

Judgment in February
– We are in the process of evaluating this matter thoroughly, and these data, we must take note. It is not us who will hear the case, but we will be heard, and all options are open. Our focus is always to do the right thing for Masho, she says.
It will be decisive in the case of an Ethiopian judge is satisfied that Masho has been abused either verbally or physically.
In the month of February there was a young girl who was adopted from Ethiopia to Holland, who had as the first in the Ethiopian legal history her adoption overturned. It could be done, because she could prove that she had been subjected to physical violence.

Mashos biologiske forældre i Etiopien gik fredag til en advokat for at få omstødt adoptionen af Masho, fordi de ønsker at genetablere deres relation til hende. Men de ønsker hende ikke nødvendigvis hjem.
– Vi vil have kontakt med hende, fordi vi er bekymrede for, hvordan hun har det, og vi er meget bekymrede for, at hun ikke har kontakt med sin bror, fortæller de biologiske forældre til DR Nyheder.
Grunden til at de ikke nødvendigvis vil have hende hjem er, at de er bange for at gøre livet endnu mere svært for hende, end det er i forvejen.
Ønsker kontakt til datter
– Hun taler ikke sproget, og der er gået så lang tid, så vi er bange for, at det vil være mærkeligt for hende pludseligt at være her. Vi er heller ikke sikre på, at vi kan give hende den livsstil, hun er vant til, siger Mashos biologiske mor, Sinkenesh Hussein.
Men de ønsker at få kontakt med deres datter, så de kan sikre sig, at hun har det godt og forklare hende, hvorfor hun blev givet væk.
I dag er Masho anbragt på et bosted i Holbæk kommune, mens lillebroderen Roba stadig bor hos adoptivforældrene. Og det er noget, der bekymrer de biologiske forældre.
Gik til advokat fredag
– De var meget knyttede til hinanden, og Masho var meget beskyttende over for sin bror. Vi er meget kede af, at de ikke har hinanden mere, men bor hver for sig, siger Sinkenesh Hussein.
Mashos forældre har længe været i en proces, hvor de har overvejet, hvordan de skulle agere i forhold til det faktum, at Masho i dag er anbragt. Fredag tog de så et endeligt skridt og bad en advokat om at gå ind i sagen.
Helle Mariager, der er børne- og ungechef i Holbæk Kommune, siger til DR Nyheder:
Dom i februar
– Vi er i gang med at evaluere den her sag til bunds, og de her oplysninger må vi tage til efterretning. Det er ikke os, der skal behandle sagen, men vi vil blive hørt, og alle muligheder er åbne. Vores fokus er hele tiden at gøre det rigtige for Masho, fortæller hun.
Det bliver udslagsgivende for sagen, om en etiopisk dommer finder det bevist, at Masho har været udsat for misbrug enten verbalt eller fysisk.
I februar måned fik en ung pige, der var adopteret fra Etiopien til Holland, som den første i etiopisk retshistorie sin adoption omstødt. Det kunne lade sige gøre, fordi man kunne bevise, at hun havde været udsat for fysisk vold.
Tidligere fredag meddelte Socialministeriet, at det ikke længere vil tillade adoptionsbureauet DanAdopts adoptioner af børn fra Etiopien.
Ministeriets beslutning sker blandt andet på baggrund af DR Nyheders dokumentation af problemerne i adoptionsbranchen.
